My passion for helping others began in 2003 when I enlisted in the the US Army. After six year in the military I completed my time in service and went on to pursue a career in skin care; in 2009 I became a licensed esthetician. In 2015 I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Wellness with an emphasis in Nutrition from Kaplan University, I graduated Suma Cum Laude. My yoga training followed in 2015 in Rishikesh, India. In December of 2019 I became a birth and postpartum doula.

Why I became a Doula
|
What I offer: Help with the emotional and physical recovery after birth. Light housekeeping so new parents do not feel overwhelmed. Running errands. Assistance with newborn care such as diapering, bathing, feeding and comforting. Letting you rest if baby is fussy. Helping families build confidence to care for their newborns. I also offer attention and support to other children in the home! Have a toddler? Great I’ll help with them too! I can help with identifying baby behavior and teach baby soothing techniques. You will always have a clear-minded dedicated support person in me; I don't smoke, do drugs, or drink. Think of me as a family member and don't worry about venting to me or asking me to do dishes because I am here for you! I also offer help to adoptive parents who have had no experience with newborns, I can ease your worries and help you feel confident in your new parenting journeys.
